Agreement between the Renter and the Proprietor
of
Samui Honey Tara Villa
1. Rental Property
Samui Honey Tara Villa located in Plai Laem
on Koh Samui. Check-in time is 2.00 p.m.
and check-out time is 12.00 p.m. (noon).
An early or late check-in/out can be arranged
depending on the availability of Samui Honey
Tara Villa. The charge for late check-out
between 12.00 p.m. and 18.00 p.m. on the
departure date is 50% of the daily rate,
late check-out after 18.00 p.m. will be
charged at the full amount of the daily
rate.
2. Rent Amount
The rent amount is calculated on basis of
the number of reserved nights and the rate
per night shown on the Rent Pricelist. The
rental rate includes airport transfer and
daily maid service. The rental rate does
not include breakfast, meals, food inventory
or beverages.
3. Terms of Payment
The renter must pay a non-refundable deposit
of 30% of the total rent amount in order
to secure his reservation at Samui Honey
Tara Villa. The deposit is payable within
10 days of receiving the reservation confirmation
from the house owner. The deposit amount
is to be
wire-transferred in Thai Baht currency to
the owner’s bank account in Thailand:

A booking at Samui Honey Tara Villa is
guaranteed when the deposit amount is credited
to this bank account. The balance to the
full rental amount becomes due on or before
the guest’s departure date.
4. Liability
The renter shall be responsible and liable
to the landlord for any and
all damage to the property inflicted through
him, including the house, furniture, appliances
and other inventory. Private liability insurance
with international coverage or travel liability
insurance may cover the expense for repairs
or replacement of damaged property. Samui
Honey Tara Villa is superbly maintained
and technically well equipped. We ask the
renter to report to the landlord any damage
caused by him/her.
The landlord shall only be liable for damages
or injuries incurred by the renter through
the landlord’s gross negligence. The landlord
shall not be liable for damages due to an
Act of God or force majeure. Defects or
deficiencies at the rental object shall
be reported by the renter to the landlord.
The maintenance team of Samui Honey Tara
Villa will strive to fix any problems as
quickly as possible.
5. Swimming Pool
The renter is responsible for his own and
his family’s or group’s safety. There is
no lifeguard on duty.
6. Validity of Contract
Rescission of the rental agreement without
vital reason or due to force majeure is
excluded for both parties. We advise the
renter to acquire travel cancellation insurance
from his local travel agency.
7. Cancellation of the Rental Agreement
In case of the renter’s withdrawal from
this agreement the rent deposit will be
withheld by the house owner.
8. Governing Law
All disputes relating to the performance
of and/or interpretation of any term or
provision of this Agreement shall be governed
by the laws of Thailand.
